The Moon Vase

A round, flat stone, like a full moon or a giant river pebble, with a narrow opening at the top. A vase that is a sculpture even when empty, and a vessel for flowers the moment a single branch goes in.

Two tones in the family: gray, a clouded stone in smoky shades; and coral, a warm stone veined in pink and rust.

Three sizes, from the small vase for the windowsill to the large one for the living room, or the full set of all three together. A vessel for fresh or dried flowers, and a decorative piece in its own right.

The stone is natural; tones and veining vary slightly from piece to piece.
