Im Eshkachech Wall Clock sets at its center the words from Psalms that have accompanied the people in every generation, engraved on a stone tablet and ringed by rows of round stones inspired by the Western Wall. The round shape softens the ancient wall and turns it into a warm, inviting piece. The hours are marked in Hebrew letters, Yud-Bet, Gimel, Vav, and Tet, and a pair of hammered brass hands in an antique gold tone move quietly over the stone. Some homes hang it as a remembrance of the destruction of the Temple, and some simply because it is beautiful, and either way it does its part, recalling Jerusalem at every hour of the day. A moving gift for a wedding, a housewarming, or a bar mitzvah, a piece that ties a new home to an old memory.

The stone is natural; tones and veining vary slightly from piece to piece.

Dimensions: diameter 25 cm.

Handcrafted from authentic Jerusalem stone, in a slow process that gives it a hue and texture unlike any other.
